“Meeting Mica” by Karen Harris
Mica was the first person I met at hygiene orientation. She and Crissy were sitting outside on the sidewalk. I asked, “are y’all here for dental hygiene school too?”
Within 10 minutes I knew most of Mica’s life story and the 3 of us immediately became friends. You latch onto the first nice person when you don’t know anyone! A week later we got invited to go to dinner for Megan’s birthday and that’s how the “BRC” came to fruition. Haha! So many good memories with her. I sure miss her in our group texts and occasional reunions!
